WHAT is ISO

International Organization for Standardization , is the last element that creates the photographic triangle  which affects the correct exposure in a photograph. Basically the lower the ISO setting makes it  less sensitive to light, the higher the ISO the more sensitive the camera or film is to light however as the ISO increases  the more noise it  it creates in a photograph
